EXTENSIVE RENOVATION OF FACILITY UNDERWAY

Brampton, ON – Excitement is in the air at Gateway Chevrolet. Work is underway on a major renovation of Brampton’s premier Chevrolet, Buick and GMC auto dealership.

The showroom, service facility, body shop and used vehicle centres will be entirely renovated in 2016, says General Manager, John Reid. “We’ve been growing exponentially in recent years – and the expanded showroom and service facility will help address the needs of our customers today and in the future”, Reid said.

The renovation involves an expanded and reconfigured showroom and offices and the construction of new restrooms, reception area and customer lounge, complete with new finishes, new lighting, electrical and energy efficient upgrades. The exterior renovation includes an all new facade, glass replacement, reworking of sidewalk and curbs and landscaping.

The showroom renovations is expected to be completed in the next few weeks, followed by a full renovation of the service centre according to Reid.

There are 68 employees at the Queen and Gateway Boulevard address and after the renovation Gateway anticipates increasing their number of employees to further address the continued growth.

In addition to the news about the renovation, the dealership is excited to now showcase Brampton’s Largest Truck inventory along with the launch of several new vehicles including the all-new Chevrolet Cruze, the redesigned Malibu and the all-new Spark – the lowest priced compact car in Canada. Reid invites all of Gateway’s current and future customers for a tour of the renovated facility and for a first look at the amazing new vehicles that have just arrived from General Motors.

Musical Tribute to Aadesh Shrivastava at Chandni Hall a huge success

A tribute to Indian music composer and singer Aadesh Shrivastava was held in the city on April 15th. The composer of over 100 Hindi films had a tremendous following. Asian Connections Radio and TV presented this 16th annual musical evening at the Chandni Banquet Hall with music, fashion and dinner enjoyed by over 600 attendees. Gateway Chevrolet was proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event. Gateway Sales Representatives Pardep Sharma and Umesh Mahajan were both in attendance to showcase the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. “People were very excited to see and learn more about the new Cruze”, said Mahajan. “Gateway Chevrolet is proud to support the community and to be included in such a great event – we really enjoyed being part of it”, said Sharma.
