150-Point Inspection
Each GM CPO vehicle is inspected by highly trained, licensed mechanics before reaching the sales department. Our mechanics check that everything is in pristine working order to make sure it lasts for many miles to come.
During this process, each vehicle must pass an inspection that consists of at least 150-points. This is a much more comprehensive process than what most people check for on their own before purchasing a used vehicle. This inspection ensures that each used car is in excellent physical, and road-worthy condition. In addition, any outstanding regular maintenance is performed, and faulty components are either repaired or replaced.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
When you’re shopping for a used vehicle, it’s important that you understand who’s providing your warranty coverage. With a GM Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle, you’ll benefit from the Used Vehicle Limited Warranty that’s covered under one of the most trusted warranty providers. This warranty lasts a minimum of 3 months, or 5,000km (whichever comes first), and guarantees that only qualified GM technicians will be servicing your vehicle.
If your budget permits, you can also extend or upgrade the Used Vehicle Limited Warranty to a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Protection Plan. Also, if you decide to sell your GM CPO vehicle, the warranties can be transferred over to the new owner.
24-Hour Roadside Assistance
At Gateway Chevrolet, we want you to feel safe and supported while driving your CPO vehicle. That’s why in addition to thorough inspections and warranties, we offer 24-hour roadside assistance with a purchase of a GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. This program offers you roadside assistance benefits for a minimum of 3 months, or 5,000km (whichever comes first). The roadside assistance program also provides trip interruption coverage and trip routing services if your vehicle is disabled and you are a minimum of 250km away from home. Vehicle Exchange Privilege
When you’re satisfied, we’re satisfied. That’s why every GM CPO vehicle comes with a vehicle exchange privilege, meaning that you may exchange your vehicle within the first 30 days or 2,500km (whichever comes first. Regardless of the reason for the exchange, this privilege will be honored until you are completely satisfied with the vehicle you’re driving.
